Dots On Face, What Should I Do?

Hi,

I am a 16 year old boy. My mom has some black dots on her face (they aren't moles because they don't actually come off the skin, and are barely visible). I also have several black dots on my face. Will mine grow bigger, or remain the same size, or if neither of the two options I named happen, what WILL happen too these dots? Is there any kind of cream I can use to gradually get rid of them?

Dots On Face, What Should I Do?
Hi Ben! Sounds like you and your mom might want to ask a dermatologist about the spots. I have some on my face and went to have them checked out. In my case, there is a prescription cream for the spots, which are caused by sun damage.

Check with your family doctor or maybe the school nurse (does your school have one?). If they aren't causing pain and are not changing shape, you probably don't need to worry.

The only cream I know of is by prescription only. Sorry! I hope you find the answers you need....
Reply:Im 12 and i have lots of them especially on my nose. U can buy special creams and face washes to tackle them in superdrugs or boots or something. No need to worry, they're barely visible as u say.
Reply:see a doctor. or ask your mom what hers are...
Reply:Are they black heads? I think you need to squeeze them babies. Then use an acne free soap to keep them away.
Reply:You have black heads, there is a lot of acne medicine that treat black heads...
Reply:Are they black heads? If so you can use special face washes that will help rid your face of those. Face scrubs will help clean the pours out of all of the dirt that has deposited in the pours and doing this on a regular basis will help keep skin healthy. If it is moles, you could have them removed by a specialist.
