Does your face dry out minutes after you wash it?

Is this normal? Because it happens me. Or is it time to change face washes? Throughout the day as my face gets a bit more oily, it seems to look a little better.

If you moisterize then it should not happen and if you do moisterize then it is time to get a new moisterizer.
Reply:Yes. It happens to everybody specially in the winter time. I usually use lotion every time after i wash my face. I Use the Vaseline Moisturizing lotion. I think thats one of the best lotions i ever used in my life. It makes your skin so soft and healthy all day long even after you put makeup and the end of the night u wash ur face again and you would still feel that ur face is soft.....

Reply:I never put soap on my face. I always use a facial scrub and moisturize right after. try the clearasil kind. It works really well.
Reply:Yes. I don't use moisturizer though, I just let my natural oils take care of it and my face isn't dry anymore after a little bit.
Reply:After you wash your face you should always put a noncomedogenic moisturizer on it. It will say it on the label on the back. It's perfectly normal for your face to dry out though, you just have to replenish the moisture without the oil. You shouldn't wash your face more than two times a day though, and no scrubbing.
Reply:your skin might be too dry after you wash it because your wash is too harsh. try a more gentle and soothing wash, and follow with face moisturizer
Reply:yea, this happens to me too. its normal. just use a moisturizer. its even better to use a moisturizer after you wash your face/shower because the pores are open and since your skin is damp, you absorb more moisture!
Reply:you answered your own question...the oil in your face keeps it moist and looking good ...but also at the same time the same oil traps the dirt that can cause acne and other skin problems
