Can my face get better?

ive had face problems since 5th grade. Ive used about 5 kinds of face cleansers, and none of them have worked. theyve only made me get worse. i even used one that was proven better than Pro-active and it didnt help. I NEED SOME GUARANTEED RECOMMENDATIONS!!!! please help me!

Can my face get better?
take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i've used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin.. pro active dried my skin out, but aspirin didn't.. it's a lot cheaper also..

oh.. and pro active contains benzoil peroxide.. whereas aspirin contains salacylic acid ..

another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it's sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives.. and i do it about three times a week..

only wash your face when you wake up in the morning, before you go to bed, and after exercise.. excess washing makes your face produce extra oil..

warm water opens pores and cold closes them.. so wash with warm and rinse with cold..

and watch the make up you use.. a mineral make up is much better for your skin.. it doesn't clog your pores or cause break outs.. i recommend bare minerals..

drink lots of water.. eat healthy.. and take vitamin e, vitamin c, zinc and b vitamins..

i hope this helps..
Reply:Well have you tried actually using Proactiv? For me it works WONDERS!!!....I have been using it off and on for about 2 years now and it is very effective...
Reply:Well, what's wrong with it? Acne I'm assuming.

Oily or too dry?

See, to keep it nice and balanced use a non-irritating face wash like noxzema or a good scrub like biore unclogging scrub. Then use a good astringent with alcohol and/or witch hazel in it. After that apply an oil-free ph balanced moisturizer.

If you over clean and make it dry then your face produces extra oil, and thats not good.

by the way: proactive didn't work for me either
Reply:well for some people different things work i use noxema and st ives apricot scrud but whatever you do do not close your pores your skin is one big organ so you want to use natural face washes without lots of chemicals in them.here are some things you can try out: Nutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash, Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, also stress can cause break outs so avoid getting stressed also dont overeat dairy products eat organic foods. i hope this helps :)
Reply:Lime juice, tomato slices, home made packs can be used for treating acne. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for pimples at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
Reply:Hi

Acne problems are often caused by a weak liver (I found this out only after spending hundreds of dollars on costly medications for it). I learned that sticking to a raw food diet, which is a diet made up mainly of eating raw fruits and vegetables, really helped. You have to kind of stay away from junk foods and dairy products too-milk contains hormones and things that the body can't digest very well and that's why you can get blemishes on your face. Chocolate also has fat and wax in it that the body has a hard time digesting. Sticking to natural foods is best. I found eating cabbage for a few days really helped clear my skin up, as cabbage is good for the liver. I wrote more about this on my blog about the raw food diet, if you want to check it out. Hope it helps :)
Reply:Some of the acne/pimple washes actually agrivate the skin. I used to use a product called MD Formulations (I don't need it now as my skin has cleared up). Its made by a dermatologist.

  1. Queen Helene has a Mint Julep Masque that you can use once or twice a week with your normal skin care regimen to help dry up acne, clear blackheads and shrink pores. It's super cheap too and you can even get a coupon at www.queenhelene.com/coupon.html

Feel free to pass it on if you would like. Hope you enjoy!
