Dry Patch on my face?

I wash my face with cleanser and put cocoa butter on my face to keep it from drying out, but I have this dry patch on my face. What could this be from?

I dont drink any sodas or eat much chocolate.

Dry Patch on my face?
Good question! I have one too. It could be the weather and the environment outside. You know the dust, fumes from exhaust and other pollutants. Try to write down a list of the things that you suspect that could be causing it, then avoid it if you can :-)
Reply:Sodas or chocolate have nothing to do with it first of all. Your cleanser may be the problem. Using it too much may be causing your face to have a dry patch. Try washing your face less %26amp; using a lotion just for your face. Don't use body lotion. This also could be from chaffing. If you have something rubbing against your face constantly, it could cause your face to have a dry patch. Hope this helps.
Reply:Not to scare you but my stepdad had a small dry patch on his face that turned out to be skin cancer.

Sorry, had to throw that out there.

My husband has certain areas that are always really dry and he just has to keep moisturizing them. I would gently exfoliate at least a few times per week (like with a cheap otc apricot scrub like St. Ives) and use a good moisturizer. Try a medicated one (can find otc). If this spot persists I would get it checked out.
