Hi, in winters, I developed this itchy red rash on my forehead, nose and upper lip. So I stopped using all the face products: face soap andmy sunblock. I use to apply curd but it improved for a while. So i used my sunblock again and ended up with this rash again, I've quit using sun block for the past few weeks, but the rash is there. I use calamine lotion to reduce the itching. On weekends when I don't go in the sun my skin heals, there's no rash, no itching but just dry marks but after the weekend in collge, it becomes bad again..so whats going on??
Red itchy face rash?
go to the dermatologist , thell tell you everything you need to know, you may be allergic to that sunblock
or you could have eczema which is no common in the face but it does rarely happen
Reply:You might try just plain aloe vera gel on your face when it is
broke out. And it does sound like you are having allergy problems.
Reply:ask Dr. House.
Reply:you are allergic to the sunblock or the lotion try not using either one for a week and see if it heals! BEST of LUCK!:)
Reply:cool guy just use plain moisturisers. like vaseline or coconut oil. on a wet face. dramatic recovery in 3 days.
Reply:Go to your doc, you might need allergy testing.
Reply:your face must be too dry. using a moisturizer may help out

Contact dermatitis is skin inflammation caused by direct contact with a particular substance; the rash is very itchy, is confined to a specific area, and often has clearly defined boundaries.
Substances can cause skin inflammation by one of two mechanisms—irritation (irritant contact dermatitis) or allergic reaction (allergic contact dermatitis).
