Does your face swell up from birth control???

My face swells up,and my dr told me it's from birth control that i have been using for about 2 months.Does anybody else got same thing?I'm not gaining any weight at all its just my face.And if you had experienced it,did it go away and how soon.Thank you all for taking time to answer

well change brands, because it sounds like a mild allergic reaction or your body just doesnt want it or cant handle it. Id changed brands to a lower dosage pill.
Reply:It sounds like a mild allergy to something in your birth control. Check with your doctor if there are any safe alternatives to the thing you're taking. You should have an allergy test done (NOT the funnest thing in the world... they have to take 16 vials of your blood for examination) to make sure that you are allergic to an ingredient in the birth control or not. I've been on birth control for years, and it clears up my face from acne.. not make it swell.


That sounds like an allergic reaction to it.. i'd probably ask your docter.
