HELP my face wont tan?

yupp... my face wont tan, it refuses. my bodies nice and tan, yet y face and pale and white. can someone explain? using tinted mousturizer isnt really an option for me, does anyone know why this is happening? thank you so much!

OH MY GOD why have i never thought to ask this question???!! i have had the same prob. been tanning for years, face freakin stays white! whats up with that?! my ex said my face glowed in the dark, and it was really embarrassing. ive tried to use a moisturizer that gradually tans your face the more u use it, and i only use it at night. it works to give a tint, but face still doesnt match my tan bod! during the day i wear tan face makeup to even out my skin tone with my neck, that is all i could think of to do. if u figure it out lemme know!! sorry i probably didnt help, we're in the same boat!

Reply:There could be more than one reason, the most common one is that you are wearing make - up on your face or a moisturizer. Usually a lot of these have sun protection or are applied so thickly that they repel the sun. The other could be, assuming that you are tanning in a salon, is that you have inadequate or no face lamps in your bed. Either way, an easy fix is to just wear a lot of powder bronzer or sunless tan your face a little bit because everyone's face is always a little bit (or sometimes a lot) lighter than the rest of their body.
Reply:actually tanning is bad for you what you think is a pretty tan is actually pre-cancerous cells try using spray on tan and avoid tanning beds because there even worse.
Reply:Are you using a moisturizer or foundation with SPF in it?





Try cleansing your face thoroughly before trying to tan. Also, exfoliate your skin at least once a week.
Reply:Try the loreal skin ehancer it kind of like a glow. It works i have the same problem.
Reply:Consider yourself lucky. Now your face won't end up leathery and wrinkled after years of tanning like the rest of your body.
Reply:do you use foundation? that might have sunblock in it - have you tried tanning with no makeup on?
Reply:I'm not sure, but you can get a self tanner for your face to help. You could also go to a tanning booth that has a face tanning section.
Reply:Do you put on any face lotion in the morning? If you do, check to see if it has sunscreen in it.
Reply:i had the same prolbem but i went and bought a tanning lotion without bronzer or color just white lotion with hemp and it worked amazing!!
Reply:hmm, maybe your wearing make up while you tan, but try wearing bronzer to make it tan
Reply:go to cvs and get tanning oil. it will help to give you a nice glow. if that dont work go and see a dermitologist
