Does a man's face get wider or longer as they get older?

I noticed that men between when they are 20-40 their faces either get much wider or much longer, I am wondering has anyone notice a change in their face width, length, or overall shape between that age period? I came to this curious question because looking at my old man's early and later photos it seems his face got a lot wider.

Does a man's face get wider or longer as they get older?
Yes, as a man ages, his face gets wider.
Reply:We have cartilage in our ears and nose. These areas tend to elongate some with age. Widening shouldn't occur because the zygomatic arch (cheek bone)fuses at about age 15. Our faces tend to sag downwards. Camera angles and weight gain can be attributed to the widening of the face. We tend to put on weight with age in this country. Have a nice day.
Reply:Yes testoterone increses the size of your face, back during more primal survival times...a bigger face was more of a threat..a large jaw has always been a sign of masculinity.

Also, when women take hormones as a part of a gender change, they may experience a bulking of the muscles in the face.
