I put on make-up and 45 minutes later my face gets really oily. And because of this my make-up don't last long. I'm not type of person carrying compact powder everywhere. By end of the day, I look like I never put on make-up at all. This is frustrating, I'm sure anyone as same situation as me are too. How do I battle with oily face? And how do I make my make-up last?
Why my face gets oily really fast???
Oh girl...i have the same problem...
well..if u use some creme for non oily skins...it might make your skin dry and leaf through and even if i tried that one, at the end it still got oily after some hours...
i usually take my compact powder with me...but if u don't have it, every time u go to the toilet, just put a tissue over the oily area don't rub it (u need the make-up) and tap it.
Did u try not putting make-up at all? If your skin is OK without the make up, then just put some rouge, and concentrate on your eyes and lips!
Reply:I have oily skin too and this is what I use:
Oil control mineral powder in the t zone.
Hollywood mineral foundation over my whole face.
It never wears off, but my forehead gets shiny by 4 p.m., but hey...that's wayyyyy better than before when I used liquids or creams and was oily an hour later!!!
They have samples for like $1 on the site and ship them free...you should try some and see if it helps you.
Reply:I have the same problem as you do, and i found two really great face lotion that keeps my face non-oily.
One of them is Noxema and the other is Neutrogena. They both work extremely well and definately aren't as expensive as Shisheido or any of those.
I would try Noxema Oil Free Skin or Neutrogena Oil Free Face Wash.
(I can't gurrantee i spelled all this right, or got the type right either, but it should be something like that.)
you can find these in the pharmacy or walmart, etc.
PS: Two squeezes and twice a day
Reply:a good face mask once a week, only use face products at night, cos they strip the skin of natural oils
if you use them in the morning then apply make up the make up will run as the skin produces oil to replenish its natural barrier against impurities
Reply:-have you ever heard of sauna? well that hot water makes your skin really dry.... and i'm sure the hot water takes all the oil in your face, and not just your face but your whole body.
i recommend you in the morning.
-if that don't work, buy yourself proactive solutions... wash your face at least 10-15 mins every morning then use your make up.... do the same thing before you go to bed.
- if you use compact powder, or other cremes... i'm sure it will work... but temporary.
-sometimes cremes don't work. that is why i use a different method
-in 3 to 4 weeks your'll see the difference.
-good luck, babe
Reply:Try using a gentle cleanser twice a day (once in the morning, once at night) and using a mattifying primer before you put on makeup. You could also try changing the type of makeup you use. Look to see if it's a formula for oily skin. You can also put loose powder on top to control shine or carry those Clean %26amp; Clear blotting papers (they're really small, but they work well.)
Hope that helps.
Reply:you dont need make up
Reply:I have this problem as well. And yes, it gets SOOO irritating. My foundation and everything looks great when I walk out the door but then my face is shiny not even an hour later.
What I suggest is that you look for an oil control foundation. CoverGirl makes an okay one. You might want to try higher end brands of foundation/powder, like Clinique, Sephora, or Mac. Their stuff is pricy, but worth it.
Also, try these things called oil blotting paper. Clean %26amp; Clear makes them. They're these blue sheets you use to dab on your face and they instantly absorb all excess oil on your face. I highly recommend these. They're only about $5 for a pack. I use several a day.
Best of luck with you problem :)
Reply:be sure you take off all your make-up before you go to sleep at nighttt
i know that can cause it sometimes
%26amp; also sometimes its just the make-up you wear that doesnt last long
i use rimmel eyeliner and it lasts me all day
%26amp;; i also use covergirl foundation
maybe you should try ittt (:
