The best face make up to cover freckles?

I have freckles, not a lot, I'm not a red head, but I really like having smooth looking skin. I also for some reason have like a light shade of red to my skin on the corner of my eyes, and it looks terrible unless covered with make up.

I wanted to know if any of you have this same thing and if you know a good face make up that will cover really good, but not look like there is a lot of make up on my face, you know like make your poores stick out or anything, yuckie!

Thanks :)

I feel the same way. For me, I just get a good foundation -Lancome ones are all great, plus they make you look picture perfect- get this the shade of your skin, not the freckles, i.e. the same colour as your neck. Then use bronzer to give yourself a radiant glow, blusher also looks good. For the body, self-tanners such as st.Tropez or Garnier spray mist are great for making them less obvious. To fade mine, I use 'Fade Out' www.fadeout.com it works and is cheaply available at Boots or Superdrug. It is also important to wear at least spf 15 every day (winter/summer), I use factor 50 by Clinique which works great.

I get freckles, but there's loads of ways to get rid of them -laser, lightening creams, laser, peels... Tretinoin (Retin-A). Some people with freckles like them and think they look cute with them, but alot of people DON'T. You can't just tell someone to like their freckles.

Dermatoligist Remedies-

Things You'll Need:

Bleaching cream

Chemical peel

Laser

Liquid nitrogen

Retinoid

Step One: Apply bleaching cream to your freckles. The cream slowly fades the freckles by inhibiting melanin. Follow the application instructions.

Step Two: See a dermatologist for chemical peels treatment. These peels get rid of freckles by peeling away the skin. Allow several days for skin healing.

Step Three: Get rid of your freckles through laser treatment. This long lasting technique performed by a dermatologist gives good results, but allow a couple of weeks for your skin to heal.

Step Four: Freeze your freckles with liquid nitrogen applications. The nitrogen blisters the skin then raises the freckle for removal.

Step Five: Ask a dermatologist for a cream prescription containing retinoids for treatment.

Home Remedies-

Things You'll Need:

Cosmetics

Sour milk

Lemon juice

Step One: Consider cosmetic cover-ups available at any cosmetic store. The makeup washes away so the freckles remain after use, but when applied to the skin the freckles disappear.

Step Two: Make a nightly face wash with sour milk. Your skin peels from the lactic acid.

Step Three: Rub lemon juice into the freckled area twice each day allowing it to set 10 to 15 minutes until the freckles fade. Wash your face before getting out in the sun.

Also, maybe for your eys you should try a soothing eye cream? Dermalogica do great ones! Good Luck!! xxx
Reply:Hi, I am sure you can get some makeup reccomendations, but if you are truely bothered by your freckles, Mary Kay makes Even Complexion Esscence that helps interrupt the production of malonin in the skin and sun spots, age spots, hyperpigmentation, and freckles start to fade after about 4 weeks.
Reply:yup, i agree that you have to use a concealer or foundation that matches your skin, or you can try use the Shiseido Matifying Veil that you can get on 88db, it helps to keep skin shine-free and improve the wear of makeup
