What's on my face? its really worrying me?

last night, i used proactiv solution [just the cleander] and when i washed it off, i had these little tiny red bumps all over my face! i've used proactiv before and it was working great, and suddenly i noticed this. i didn't use the lotion or toner afterwards, just went to sleep. at night, i remember my face was itching like crazy! when i woke up, i the little bumps were still there, but spread to more places. they look like acne, but i know its not, because when i look closer, it looks like sores. [kinda like really really small cold sores all over my face!] and when i rubbed my eyes, they went onto my eyelid too! they itch like crazy and keep spreading. anyone know what it is?

What's on my face? its really worrying me?
Either atopic dermatitis (allergic reaction),allergy to one of the ingredients in "Proactive",measles, or a baterial infection.

By the way, don't rub your eyes anymore. Get it chcked out.
Reply:You may wanted to get checked for allergies to food and keep a food diary of what makes you break out more than other foods.

I have a friend who is allergic to Olives and she was washing her face with olive soap everyday and was getting red bumps not acne all over her face. She broke out even worse when she ate anything with olive oil in it too (pizza, spaghetti, martini's lol)
Reply:I suggest you consult with a skin specialist.
Reply:It sounds like you are having a reaction to the cream. You need to wash your face with plain soap (free of any perfumes or lotions) dry it with a clean fresh towel and repeat twice a day. Try going without anything on your face for a day or two till it clears up. Once everything is back to normal introduce lotions, make-up or face cleansers one at a time. That way you can determine what your having a reaction to.

If you try the proactive again try it in a small (silver dollar size area on your neck and see if you get the same reaction) I'm guessing if you do, you have grown an allergic reaction to the product.

As a last option contact your doctor.

Good Luck
