Depends on the issue being discussed.
If it's really serious, I like to talk face to face. Little nuances can be mistaken and eye contact is key.
For lighter subjects I prefer the phone..no need to see the person face to face to talk about the weather or who's getting the kids after school.
Reply:Phone to phone coversation is better before doing face to face conversation. The biggest advantage of phone talking is that you dont feel any hesitation what you feel lively while seeing a person's face.
First start talking with phone, you can come to know likes and dislikes of the person you are talking with, then you will easily carry on face to face talk.

People also like written communication as it shows you have taken time to order your thinking and not to disturb them. However email is limited and sometimes phone calls are a better way to reach agreement, it is always good to ask the person you are calling whether they can chat at the moment. Face to face communication is the most interruptive and demands intimacty you are best to have an invitation or a very good short presentation.For the personal relationships telephone is the best, then face to face and writing is last.
Reply:It depends on the topic of discussion. If you are going to break up with someone, then be respectful and do it in person. If you are just wanting to say hello or talk about nothing in particular, the phone is fine.

We can debate this question many times over. So lets divide the question and then make decisions.
For business: a telephone conversation is appropriate unless you need to negotiate a contract. The face to face does give you the advantage of "reading" the other party's facial expressions. Similar to playing poker.
For casual aquaintances or friends. A phone call will do but it is alot more fun in person. It is alot easier to flirt in person than over the phone, not impossible but easier.
For a very personal relationship; skip the phone, it is all in the eyes and the lips and the bod..... unless you are long distances apart, then use the phone as much as financially possible.
If you are going "green" environmentally, then use the phone. It does save fossil fuel and pollution. But you could practice walking, biking or skating to your social group hangout.
If you are in love....well there is nothing like being there in person. But there is also the element of sexy flirtatous dating on the phone too.
Can you have it all? Yep, That is why they made camera phones!

Reply:depends on all the circumstances in volved. if its a friend and you feel comfortable with them, then face to face. if its an enemy and you fear them, phone call.

Reply:Might as well be a phone call because young people today are to busy looking at their text screen to look you in the face and have a conversation that lasts more than two minutes.
Just watch, if someone that texts a lot and they can't look down at their phone when it vibrates or beeps (which on average is every two minutes) or doesn't beep they get real itchy.

They will need you to be there for them. I guess if you are breaking up with a person and it gets loud you still need to do it in person. Really red face problems?
Like it's not jsut when I get embarassed or something, sometimes my face just gets really red and really hot. It looks really weird and everyone asks me why my face is so red. Is it rosacea? What is it? And how can I get rid of the redness or hide it?

It very well could be rosacea. Rosacea has triggers for me: Alcohol, Heat, Spicy Foods, Sour Foods, etc.

You will definitely want to go to a dermatologist to find out for sure because acne treatments will really hurt your face.
For makeup: Keep moisturized with a sensitive skin treatment, and use a green based powder, it will hide the red. For moisturizers, I recommend Aveeno. It's very easy on the skin.

OK I'm really angry because I keep having this zits ALL OVER my face and having these small dots under my nose . Every day my skin feels so dirty and dry . I used to use CleanandClear face wash butt I stopped because IT ACTUALLY CAUSED MY ZITS ! Can any of you recommend a product that Moisturizes your face ( Oil-Free ) and a product that clears and PREVENTS Zits and other face problems . Also any other additional product that makes your face healthy and glowing ! I need your help ?

Head down...face up?
I had an ultrasound today to check position of baby (i'm 35 weeks) and the tech said she was head down, face up but she didn't think she would be able to turn around considering there's no room left in there (i guess their supposed to be face-down). She said she had seen a baby delivered in this position and it came out really bruised and it wasn't a pretty sight and painful for mother...but then she says as long as the baby is head down then that's all the doctor's concerned about. We're still considering a c-section due to a low placenta, but it's been moving up so they think i might be able to try vaginal and if that's the case i don't want a bruised baby (she scared me with that story) or extremely painful delivery...i'm worried now.
Has anyone else experienced a birth with baby being positioned differently?

The position is called Sunny Side Up. It is a very painful way to deliver and can cause bruising to the baby's face as the face will be rubbing the pubic bone as it exits the canal not the back of the head. It can still be delivered that way and pain medication for you during labor will help...some. You will probably have a bit longer pushing time though. Good Luck.
Reply:I have had to face up babies. And they were nothing like that. My second one was pressed up against my pelvic bone so when she was born her nose was bent a little and her ear was pressed down. But was better before she left the hospital two days later. But with a face up baby or posterior it is called you do have back labor so I would look into that.

In Ina May's Guide to Childbirth she has a story about a baby born in this position called "its a nose". Everything turned out fine and it might make you feel better to read it. Face down is more typical but you can still have a normal birth. Good luck and try not to stress yourself out too much!
Reply:the only thing i have heard about face up babies (sunny side up) is that it causes back labor(back of babies head pushes on spinal column), so you might need something for the pain.
Reply:Not to scare you but my daughter was face up and I had to have a c-section. They told me that if I had had her vaginally it would have crushed her face and she would have died. But don't be scared as far as a c-section goes. There not as scary as you'll make it out to be. I have had two. They give you some good drugs after too. I didn't even know where is was I was talking to my mom and didn't even know I had said anything. But don't be scared hun! Nothing to worry. You'll be fine!

Rash on face? need help pls!?
I have a rash of some sort on just my (face) cheeks. It doesn't itch just embarrassing because I am an african american light skinned woman, and it really shows up. The rest of my face forehead is clear. I have been using hydrocortisone. I went to a doctor she thought it could be my eczema she prescribed elocon, but its not working. She also said to use some claritin, I guess thinking its an allergy. I have had it for about 2wks now! and I getting really upset. Please I need some tips! (b nice) I already feel bad. Thanks.... I can control the way I look 2 ways; I can either lose weight and have my body look horribly boyish cuz I look so thin and flat, but with that my face looks really stunning with less weight.

but a week later, my face is sooooo dry, that my skin is almost peeling (my chin area) . It almost feels like having a face mask on, when it's almost dry. It is sooooo uncomfortable, it doesn't feel good to smile. do u know how much moisturizers i have put on my face???? my skin drinks it right up and it's dry again.... does anyone know how to make a home made face mask? What can you use to mix that will make a face mask? I don't want to use anything with alcohol because it will dry my skin, not help it. Oh, and I don't want anything with aspirin.

Grind urd dal into a fine powder, mix rose water, glycerine and almond oil, make a paste and apply.
Sandalwood Pack
Make sandalwood (chandan) paste, add rosewater and apply it on your face. It has cooling effect. If the skin is oily, add a small quantity of sulphur to it.
Mint Pack
Grind fresh green mint and apply the paste on your face for twenty five minutes. It absorbs internal heat of the skin.
Curd Pack

If the face is dry due to heat, beat a spoonful of butter in water and apply.

In the past week or so I have been picking at my face alot. Ive had a few pimples, but I've picked at them so now they're scabs. Right now my face is really dry and my nose, forhead, and chin are peeling. It's disgusting and wont go away.

First of all don't pick your pimples, that could leave scars that will be permanently on your face. If you want your pimples to go away drink tons of water everyday and use a good facial cleansing system like Proactiv. Something easy you can do is to dab a little toothpaste on your pimples to dry them up the next morning (this will not get rid of acne though). To get rid of the dryness on your face use a facial moisturizer from brands like Olay.

Get some extra vitamin E, make sure to keep your face clean and moisturized (wash every morning and evening and moisturize every time) and keep your hands away from your face.

Something easy you can do is to dab a little toothpaste on your pimples to dry them up the next morning (this will not get rid of acne though). To get rid of the dryness on your face use a facial moisturizer from brands like Olay.

It sounds like you need to drink a lot of water... and watch your diet, even cutting out soft drinks helps. Don't pick at your pimples, otherwise you'll end up scarring it and make pock marks. It takes time to clear up skin and you have to be patient... I wouldn't do a home remedy though, try looking for Dermalogica and get the Anti-Bac cleanser. Get an oil-free moisturizer.
Reply:Sounds like you have really sensitive skin. Your face soap, moisturizer, or makeup might be causing you to break out and peel - my cousin had the same issue.
You can try changing brands for a week or two, Aveeno is really gentle and good for sensitive skin, or you can try organic cleansers and makeup like from a health food store.
Get some extra vitamin E, make sure to keep your face clean and moisturized (wash every morning and evening and moisturize every time) and keep your hands away from your face.

My friend has this rash on her face. I'm sorry but it's really gross. She told me that it feels oily. It's really red and super itchy. It looks like there are a bunch of little holes. If there's a word for that, I wouldn't know because I'm not really into facial words. How can she make her face back to normal?

John Cena - Heel! Just so that he doesn't have anymore of those 1 yearl long titlr reigns! Either way, I still don't like him! LOL! But he was better as a heel!
Mr.Kennedy - Heel! I just love how he is a loud mouth! He talks smack and he can back it up in the ring! His got skill and he's young, he's the future of the business! (Along with Randy!)
Kurt Angle - Heel! Because he is such a great wrestler, having him as a heel just makes it more entertaining! We have heels like Khali, Umaga, Mark Henry etc, but these guy are just huge and don't have the amount of wrestling skills as Kurt does!

Mr Kennedy - either one. He makes a great heel. I think he could end up being a great face too.

Baby bumped face what should i do?
Im baby sitting a 1 year old and her brother just pushed her face first onto the tiles. She bled everywhere from her mouth (i think she but her lip or inside her mouth) Its stopped now and she is just cuddling me and sucking her dummy. I was just wondering if i should give her panadol or something? It was just her face and nose not her head so i dont think she has concussion or anything. I rang her mum and she said she cant get home for 2 hours but if she is stopped crying not to stress! she said she trusts me to look after her til she gets home then hung up (she is in a meeting)

My son has fell and smacked his lip on the floor a couple times and his teeth made his lip bleed and a lot. Maybe give her a popcicle to make it feel better, well you holding the popscicle and her sucking it haha or something cold to drink.

What north face coat should I get?
I really would like to get a north face coat for this winter. I'm away at college in northern IL and it gets really cold and windy during the winter. I was thinking about the redpoint jacket but someone I know said it looked thin and that most of the womens jackets looked very thin. What is the best north face coat I can get for these weather conditions without spending much more than $200?

Wow, this is a tough one with your price limit if you want to stick with NF. If you were going to be in a place with a bit milder climate, it would be an easier choice, but in northern Illinois in winter, you should be prepared for some major cold, wind and snow.
My recommendations:
Nuptse Jacket ($199): skip it, way too granola looking
Transit Jacket ($229): skip it, sort of goofy look to it
Triclimate Jackets (all): skip them, not warm enough unless you want to always do some serious layering every time you go out in winter.
Redpoint Jacket ($149): Yea, a little short on insulation so here again you will need to layer up. An attractive price. Lacks a hood, which can be very useful on occasions. Consider the next two.

Why are both sides of my face so dark?
I am 30 years old and african-american. For the most part, I don’t have a lot of bumps on my face but my skin is dry and there is always dry-skin peeling on my nose. I have a dark complexion, but I have noticed that both sides of my face are much darker than the rest of my face. The darkness is in the cheek and jaw areas. I have been tested for diabetes and although I don’t have it, they say I am a pre-diabetic (meaning I will have it if I don’t lose some weight). Also, my mother, brother, grandmother and two of my aunts have diabetes so I am at risk. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) 8 or 9 years ao, so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. The PCOS has caused me to gain weight, so I don’t know if weight gain is the cause either. I use Neutrogena or Oil of Olay facial wash and I use one of those white facial pads (they’re kind of coarse and they buff the dead skin off your face). I don’t do this everyday, but once a week or so.
Why are both sides of my face so dark?
pigmentation is more common on dark skin. R u eating healthy?
also, u can get dermatologis to prescribe hydroquinone 4%. now it will take months before u see results and u have to be persistent.

What's on my face? its really worrying me?
last night, i used proactiv solution [just the cleander] and when i washed it off, i had these little tiny red bumps all over my face! i've used proactiv before and it was working great, and suddenly i noticed this. i didn't use the lotion or toner afterwards, just went to sleep. at night, i remember my face was itching like crazy! when i woke up, i the little bumps were still there, but spread to more places. they look like acne, but i know its not, because when i look closer, it looks like sores. [kinda like really really small cold sores all over my face!] and when i rubbed my eyes, they went onto my eyelid too! they itch like crazy and keep spreading. anyone know what it is?

Reply:It sounds like you are having a reaction to the cream. You need to wash your face with plain soap (free of any perfumes or lotions) dry it with a clean fresh towel and repeat twice a day. Try going without anything on your face for a day or two till it clears up. Once everything is back to normal introduce lotions, make-up or face cleansers one at a time. That way you can determine what your having a reaction to.
If you try the proactive again try it in a small (silver dollar size area on your neck and see if you get the same reaction) I'm guessing if you do, you have grown an allergic reaction to the product.
As a last option contact your doctor.

Try going without anything on your face for a day or two till it clears up. Once everything is back to normal introduce lotions, make-up or face cleansers one at a time. That way you can determine what your having a reaction to.
If you try the proactive again try it in a small (silver dollar size area on your neck and see if you get the same reaction) I'm guessing if you do, you have grown an allergic reaction to the product.
As a last option contact your doctor.

i use clearisol face wash for men daily but it doesnt seen to clear up blackheads. i have seen ads for things like garnier blackhead face wash but i would like to know if it really works. also are there any home remedies i can use to clear up blackheads

Reply:If the blackheads are excessive, first you must clear up the ones that you have. Try the things that you stick on face that pulls them out. I don't know the name of these, or if they still make them but they use to. Get a good cleanser, read on it and make sure that is what it is for and also try something that will exfoliate the skin. You might also want to try something that says it will clean the pores since this is where blackheads come from a clogged pore, or perhaps a facial mask that you apply once or twice a week. Make sure you wash your face in the morning and at night and also if you do anything that makes you perspire a lot... If none of this helps it is time to make an appointment with the dermatologist to get some help.. Hope this has helped some and good luck....
Reply:i use successfully Vichy cleansing gel Normaderm and day and night creams!!! it really works with mu skin! You can find this cosmetics only at drugstore.
Reply:Make a lotion with equal parts of lime juice, almond oil and glycerin and apply on the face. It not only cures blackheads but the discoloring spots on the face too.

Reply:I used everything for my blacheads, around my chin, all over my nose and inbetween my eyebrows - my t-zone. I've used clearasil but just for my spots, it's good but very drying. For my blackheads I still use nose strips - pore strips. You can buy any brand - Biore is the most expensive but I've always used the cheaper ones, if you have a Savers, Boots or Superdrug near you then pick up their on brand pore strips or pick some up from any skin care range - the body shop even have them. Try exfoliating your skin too, to remove any dry skin and oils causing blackheads every morning. I use a cheap exfoliator every day to clean my face, often I use Tea tree oil to clear my spots and every 2 or 3 days I use a pore strip to minimise my blackheads and then follow with Olay moisturiser.
They all have instructions on the packet - wash your face, wet the applicable area and cover with the pore strip leave for 10 minutes or until dry and peel off like a plaster.

It may take a few weeks for that to clear up but once your face is clean, they shouldn't come back (shouldn't be the keyword)

In the current days we move around cuddled with a lot of stresses within ourselves. We remain unaware that all the stresses keep appearing on our faces deforming our eyebrows, lips and the face muscles as our face is the barometer for the stresses we carry along. We can regularly check the level of stresses by looking at our faces and strive to relax the features of our face and try to control our stresses.
